Will I get refunded if I cancel my subscription?

No. You can cancel any time, and your subscription stays active until the end of the current period. There is no auto-renewal after cancellation.

Why an annual subscription instead of a one-time payment?

Maintaining a secure cloud backend, handling image storage, and providing seamless multi-device sync requires ongoing maintenance and resource costs.

I cannot access the features on the home tab anymore.

Your account likely has "Limited Access" because your subscription expired. You can still view and delete your past data, but you'll need to subscribe again to unlock all features.

Managing Deletion

How do I delete a single person?

You can delete a person by locating them in the **People** tab, opening their **Card View**, and clicking the **Delete** button in the top right corner. Note: This action is permanent and removes them from all groups.

What is the difference between "Shallow" and "Deep" group deletion?

When you delete a group in the **Groups** sub-tab, you have two options:

  • Shallow Deletion: Only the group folder is removed. The people inside remain in your general library.
  • Deep Deletion: The group folder AND every person associated with it are deleted from your library entirely.

Can I delete my study history without deleting my people?

Yes. Go to the **Stats** tab. You can remove individual entries from your history logs (Study, Enhance, or Mastered) by clicking the delete icon next to the entry. This cleans up your stats but keeps the people in your library.

How do I delete my entire account?

In the **Account** tab, scroll to the bottom to find **Delete Account**. This is a destructive operation that erases your profile, all people, all groups, and all media from our servers within 3 days.

App Limits & Media

What are the app limits?

  • People per account: 1,000
  • A group can maximally have 350 people attached to it.
  • An account can have maximal 1,000 groups.

Why is my image blurry?

To reduce data consumption, pictures are compressed to 800x800. We believe these still serve the purpose of name memorization perfectly while keeping the app fast.

Learning Lifecycle

I am confused by the stats on the home page.

The lifecycle of a person is: New → Studied → 1-4x Enhanced → Mastered. A person becomes mastered after 5 different enhance sessions. The sum of people in these stages equals your total library.

I know half the people in a shared group already. How do I skip them?

Go to the People tab, locate the person, and click "Mark Mastered." You can also do this in batch using the toolbox edit drawer.

I forgot people I mastered a long time ago.

Use the "Mark Relearn" button on their card to return them to the "New" state and restart the learning cycle.

Technical Support

Web app won't log in lately.

Try a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R or Cmd+Shift+R). If that fails, open the developer console (F12), go to Application -> Storage, and click "Clear site data." Then reload and log in again.

I quit a session on Android but can't resume on the web.

Active sessions are cached locally. They must be resumed on the same device where they were started.
